Heavy rail is a kind of steel rail, which is in section steel series. It is the steel rail that weight is

more than 30kg per meter. Railway track rail and crane rail are both heavy rail. Heavy rail which

is for pavement construction on railways should bear the pressure of training running, fractio

n and impact load, thus it is required to have sufficient strength and necessary toughness. Steel

rail maintains intrinsic chemical composition, in addition, it should also reach necessary physical

properties. The material for heavy rail mainly is U71Mn,45Mn and 50Mn and the specifications 

are 38kg, 43kg, 50kg, 60kg,70kg, 80kg,100kg and 120kg. Rail of 70-120kg is 

called crane rail and the producers mainly are WU STEEL, AN STEEL, BAO STEEL, PAN STEEL, 

HBIS,etc..
